Russell, a paraplegic qualified mechanic who resided and was well respected by the locals of the deep south. He suddenly passed away in March 2023 and the company was left to pick up the pieces of a business that was on the brink of taking flight. The Born Foundation invested in equipment and training skills for the staff and in this sudden dilemma it was faced with, decided to make changes and turn this project around and try to keep the team with secure jobs. It had to face the challenges of restructuring and implementation of procedures and processes all over again.

CRC Auto Repairs (now called CRC Car Services) has been identified by customers as a trustworthy, experienced and cost-effective workshop. The Foundation will strive to grow this company, upskilling staff with the end goal of enabling this company to be self-sustainable with a positive impact on the local communities.

The Born Foundation is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and improving the well-being of residents and partnering individuals from connected projects in under served communities. Recognizing the importance of physical activity and access to fitness facilities for overall health, the Born Foundation decided to invest in a local gym to provide affordable and inclusive fitness options for community members.

The Born Foundation approached the investment in this local gym strategically, aiming to create a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals of all ages and fitness levels can thrive.

Mobile Frail Care was created in early 2022 and dedicated to improving the quality of life for elderly individuals & providing sustainable jobs for qualified and experienced carers in underserved communities.

Recognizing the increasing demand for home care services due to an aging population, Born Foundation decided to invest in this project which provides shorter periods of time whereby the elderly can receive home care. The long term goal of this company is to become sustainable and to expand access to high-quality care and support for seniors.

Currently, this project is led by a team managerial, nursing and 17 carer staff.
